I've just spent the last hour practicing my first form for about five circuits and then my second form for another three but only on my second and third quadrants. I did attempt the third form on my first quadrant but found that I was getting issues with the speed of my cutting as the blade encountered my primary buttress—I think it was because my brush had a gaping breach which reduced its velocity, so I'll either apply more paste next time, or replace my cube. Anyway, that didn't work so I went back to my second quadrant for a crossover and that seemed to work pretty well because now my face feels like glass, which will only get better and better throughout the day.

Sheesh...I knew you guys all lied to me, finally got around to getting a Gillette DE, all you guys, just dive in Phrank, no problem, don't worry about the blades, now I see what you're all doing, and it won't work...I'm sending my DE back...I knew there was a reason to be frightened, very frightened....

Ok, now.I see what you guys were on about (assuming pighogs post is indicative of this guys video), the audio on my phone is useless so I couldnt hear anything in the link steph provided. Why didn't he use a brush to lather with? Do his hands provide more velocity? And why did he rub some honey into his face after he applied his soap by hand?

Thanks Ed, I may need your advice though about my lather manifold and proper face quadrant technique...I also seem to be missing at least 15 other lotions, lathers, and elixirs necessary for this experience as well...frankly I'm amazed how you guys do this.
I knew when I got this darn DE I'd need a slide rule, but no, there I went cutting corners again....
