Thanked: 4Gillette Blue Blades
Has anyone tried the Gillette Blue Blades that are currently made in China? I saw some recently on Ebay and was wondering if they were pleasant to shave with.

Thanked: 67This is a personal thing, of course, so take these comments with a grain of salt.
I have used the Gillette Blues. They're okay. I found them to not be as sharp as a Feather and not as smooth as the Red IP, so I didn't buy them in bulk.
The Feathers and the Red IPs are my go-to blades, so a blade would have to offer something they didn't for me to add them to the den The Blues didn't.
I'd say you should get your hands on a small sample of them and try them.

As always, YMMV, even more so with blades. Having said that, I wouldn't try a Chinese "Blue" on a bet if they were given to me. I can get the GSB's for $19.94/100 delivered and they do a great job for me.
Hopefully someone can chime in with some first hand feedback for you.Bob
