Thread: Weber Razor

Maybe the Weber is a more aggressive razor and you have to watch your angle more along with very light pressure.

I really like the Weber so much so that I've got 2 as spares. The thing with this razor is that the handle is longer than average and the weight is more than other DE razors. Apply NO pressure at all let the weight of the razor do the work for you.
Also the way to get the shave angle right for any new razor is to put the head and handle at 90 degrees to your face then very gradually lower the handle towards the floor until the blade bites the stubble this will the be the correct angle to use.

The Weber is a fine shaver, more aggressive than the Edwin Jagger razors. Also it is heavier. If, however, you cut yourself with it despite the different blades and the varied angles, perhaps it is a wee bit aggressive for you. Stay with the Edwin Jaggers; they are excellent razors.

I have the webber OC and it is definitely on the aggressive side. Not on the same level as the famous EJ but you can still do a number on yourself if you are not careful.

I personally think the weight is too much and makes the razor harder to control.

No, they don't. I don't have a Weber. It's got to the point I can't tell them apart without a scorecard unlike my straights.

True all the S.S DE's do look very similar
