Thanked: 23Bevel: New shaving supply service
I just read about Bevel, a shaving supply service that is still in pre-launch phase. It's focusing on African American males and problems with razor bumps but it should work for anyone. You pay $59.95 for the starter kit which includes razor, brush, pre-shave, cream, and post-shave. Then $29.95 a month for replacements which are shipped every 90 days.
The razor has a really clean, modern look and the brush looks to be decent quality.
I have no association with the company I just thought it was an interesting idea.

Looks neat! But I gotta say $30 a month just for blades is quite steep isn't it? That's $360 a year ... I know some awesome SRs for that price

Thanked: 23I think it also includes replacement for cream, pre-shave and post-shave as well, but even then I agree it's a little steep. The site did say that you could 'pause' shipments which also pauses payment. It isn't clear whether you could pause indefinitely though.

What's new about this? It's basicly the same thing we all do every day, and for many the sole reason they got into classic wetshaving.
Just another company seeing an increasing interest to wetshaving, and making their own twist by focusing it on African Americans to it to gain profit.
If this continues it's not long until a pack of Feather blades cost $20Need help or tutoring? Check out the .

different demographics - you can figure out their target audience by the places they advertise.
it's been long way coming though - our niche has had huge growth and now the market size is quite big so it's attracting significant capital. People whose sole interest is monetary and are doing it by the corporate handbook.
