Can anyone help me I.D. this DE?
I have had this DE for a while now. Cannot remember where i got it from, it was just sort of laying around the house when I found it. My wife says it was my FIL's, who passed away a few years ago. I have no complaints about this razor. It works and shaves well, so I'm very satisfied with it. Might even be a ladies razor(gasp). I don't care. Not looking in hopes that it might be something high dollar, just would like to know exactly what it is. I am fairly certain it is a really low cost razor.
It has no markings, date, or anything like that, at all.

Thanked: 20Gillette Blue Diamond. Great shaver, not very aggressive, I think it was targeted for ladies.

Actually, until I posted the pics, I didn't realize it does have markings. They are too faint for my eyes to see them.
But They showed up in the above pics.
With a lot of magnification I can see REG US PAT OFF
A Gillete diamond brand and MADE IN USA.
Never saw that before. So it is a Gillette. Any idea of the year of manufacture?

Nothing wrong with 'Pink' and a razor! A few years ago I read about a Heavyweight Boxer who wore pink trunks and a pink robe and across the back of the robe it said: Are you tough enough to wear Pink?
He had a small stand where they sold items and the proceeds went to breast cancer research!
Also I'm trying very hard to have these pink scales replicated! They are made of celluloid and will eventually break down and release a acidic vabor that will kill the razor!
If you look closely it shows a naked woman standing on a man's back who is on all fours!
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Thanked: 67That's the Blue Lady Gillette, as has been mentioned. The blue ones are popular on the forums, as most guys prefer them to the pink ones.

Thanks for the link. really cool old razors. I love mine as well. I switch between it and a straight razor. Depends on how much time I have, as the D/E is considerably faster. But I have only started using the SR in the last week, so my speed should increase.
