I really like the fancy handle. Does the decoration help with gripping?
Last weekend I found GEM SE blades at the grocery store. It surprised me, especially since they don't stock DEs.

There are many Lather Catcher models, from different companies. That pictured LC - I didn't care for much and included it in a trade (with streamline - the most overhyped of them.all) for a Toyo straight.
For me a 1912 model is better and with a clipped Astra blade as mentioned above, it is outstanding. I'm now on shave #3 with that blade, on one edge and it's great.Last edited by Galhatz; 05-28-2014 at 05:02 PM.
