    Default Rolls Razor

    Anyone shaved with a Rolls Razor recently? There's a fair bit online on other sites about restoring the rolls, but I haven't heard too much about actually shaving with one. Is it worth getting it shave ready? Thanks.

    I don't have one but I know we have some members who use them on a regular basis. From what I've read they are great shavers and well worth using as long as the kit is in complete shape and can be properly maintained.

    I don't use my Rolls Razor on a regular basis but have used and they do shave well once you get the blades honed up. I used the hones for my straights not the one in the kit. The ones in the kit seem to come cracked a lot of the time so it is a weak point with them.     I've used mine a couple of times before, the blade honed up quite nice, and it certainly is a different shave, a cross between a straight and a safety razor in my opinion.
