I have shaved ATG with a cartridge all my life (30 years shaving). Just the way I did it when I started and never learnt any better.
Since picking up the SR and DE shaving the last couple of months using the multi-pass method, I, coincidentally, had this same idea last night after a DE shave. Think I am going to experiment with this as well.
