Thanked: 14You've made a good decision to begin the wet shaving journey which you will enjoy for years. The Parker razor you reference is a non-adjustable type which is all you need to start. You don't need expensive equipment to get good shaves. Do more reading, watch videos, choose good but inexpensive equipment like razor, blades, brush and soap. Get a boar brush & soap then start practicing. You will learn by doing, you'll find out what things you like. I took this same journey as you're now beginning. I went from DE to straights, so now I can enjoy both. Good luck, have fun

Thanked: 3227I'd echo what the previous poster said. You can get Proraso shave soap and a boar brush locally at Shoppers Drug Mart. Be aware that it takes about 2-3 weeks of continuous use for a boar brush to really break in and soften a bit. Other good shave creams available locally are Maca Root at The Body Shop and Nivea at Wally World.
