Thanked: 1Should I bring
my safety razor on the cruise, or should I bring a disposable? I have never been on a boat so I don't know how that would affect my shave. Any of you guys have suggestions or experience with this? I had my second wet shave and it was amazing! Its why I cannot stop thinking if I should bring it on the cruise or not.

Take it,,, the worst is they conficate the blades, then you can get a disposable that they sell on the ship.

Been on a couple cruises with a DE and blades. No problem. They did have an issue with the X-ray of my stuff that showed the outline of a LaToja shave stick. Now that took a couple of different security people and more than a few minutes to figure out. All went well in the end however..

Thanked: 634I cruise quite a bit. Put my straights in an old cell phone case, then in a shoe for protection and in check in bag. Never had a problem.

Thanked: 4827Take the DE it won't be a great challenge. Cruise ships tend for fairer seas. It is a giant floating resort, you'll be fine.

Thanked: 1Thanks guys. I am also using rum runners to sneak booze on. Will the blades get my bag searched and get my booze caught lol?

Thanked: 171Last time, I brought my Feather AC DX along with me on the cruise.
It resembles a straight, performs like one, and if necessary I can take the blade out, but I don't need to take any other straight shaving gear along.
Safety razors should be even easier, in particular if you take a dismantled 3-piece safety razor and pack it together with the electric toothbrush in the toothbrush container.
Each of us (wife, daughter and I) carried everything for the one-week trip in his or her own carry-on bag, as it speeds up boarding and disembarking, and space on a ship is limited.
I had asked my wife to carry the dispenser with Feather AC blades in her beauty kit, and we had no problems whatsoever, including the air travel part of the trip.
