Thanked: 0Shaving body hair with safety razor
Does anyone here shave their ''private area'' with a safety razor? So far I've used trimmers. I'm worried about the nicks and cuts and also a safety razor blades is a little to wide(almost 45 mm ) to use in that area.

Hey Alex, didn't you shave that area last year with A DE? I just read over your posts for the last year & this issue of shaving your "private parts" has been covered a few times,,,, just saying
I don't shave mine BTW, I don't want the undertaker seeing me that way when they put me in the box.
I suggest you do it slowly ,deliberately & pay attention,,,, just pretend like your shaving your face.
You could always cheat & use a disposable,,,,
Good luck Alex,,,,

I would highly recommend you look at an electric body groomer from Norelco. Razor burn on the private parts is very painful.

I do mine with Shaving Soap or Cream and a Muehle R89 with a Personna blade. Do my chest too.

Besides entering search terms and reviewing older topics (don't overlook the phrase "down there"), you might look through the Ladies Corner, where the topic comes up occasionally.
Keep your pivot dry!

With a mild razor and blade, I can pretty much DE shave my face blindfolded, so I don't think it should be much of a problem.

Ok, I'll admit it... I DID shave "down there" with a straight once just to see if I could. I have all the kids I want already, so I figured it was worth trying. And it worked - quite well actually. With that said, I still use electric or disposable. Takes a lot of time/patience to use a bare razor "down there".

What's that old saying, the right tool for the right job?
They have specialized trimmers for that.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
