Wife's first DE Shave... Gillette Knack N-1 ('68) and my TGN 20mm Silvertip Standard in a Butterscoth Handle and I spoiled her with Uber- Cella/RS Moisturizing & Glycerin. She got a good Shave but not sure she is convinced of the quality. We will have to wait and see. Definitely feel for the Lady Wet Shavers out there... Thought I was going to have to form a Bucket Brigade to help build lather!!

Very nice. I just watched my wife shave her legs with a SR for about the 15th time. She handles it better than I do actually. We are former Yakima residents too by the way.

Formerly from Yakima, huh? Cool! We've been here since '97 after moving from SE Colorado so this pretty much seems like home now. I've been working on getting my Wife DE Shaving for a bit and I think she only tried it this time because my oldest daughter started a few weeks ago... Don't think I'd ever get her to try a SR but I am restoring a Thistle that would be the perfect size for her. Time will tell.

@ Timmy72... Yeah, that part I had not thought well through... Thankfully, the Cella is my only Neutral Scent and the rest are stronger Guy Scents. May have to do some shopping with her if this really takes off... I made TONS of lather and it was barely enough.

My wife was hooked on DE razors after using it once. I never got that razor back!

Great shave! How do you like the straight razor shave? I find I shave less with my SR and love it!

    Happy shaving!

She really liked the results but she is a tough sell... She started out as a Kid using SE Disposable Bics and has 'never' had skin irritation whatsoever... So, I am still working on her a bit. She likes it, sees the improvement in performance but the greater number of steps/labor required is a significant hurdle as she usually just slaps steel to skin and goes with bar soap or sometimes just water. I'm trying to work the, ".. this is something fun/simple we can do together..", angle and that is working.

My 23 y/o Daughter, on the other hand, is a dedicated fan... I got her started a little over a month ago, or so, and she absolutely loves it! She has watched yours and Casie's Videos and loves the Sharp Ladies Forum. Evidently she takes after me as the first thing she said after her first DE Shave was, "I never got any burn or irritation!", so she is sold. My 20 y/o is not sold on the idea yet but has been introduced... She may be more like my Wife so just has a, "Meh...", attitude about it. But, I'm sure as time goes on she'll try it and like it.
