out of all of the Gillette ive owned the Slim is my favorite followed by an older supper speed , setting #3 with a feather blade is awesome for me !! i went five one time ( still wet behind the ears with DE then ) and almost ripped my face off ..lol .. i may try to bump it up a notch as a new Futur DE i have i ran on #3 and it is prob like a 4-5 on the Gillette ..

as far as looks go though i still love the look and feel of the slims

SuperMax Platinum on it's 4th shave was wonderful tonight on setting #5. I am noticing the longer I shave with this razor the more I like having the option to raise or lower the setting, depending on a variety of factors, including things like how many shaves are on a blade or what type of blade, among other things.
