Never has happened before
I started out thirty six years ago with a DE. I switched over to a cartridge for many years then almost a year ago I switched back to a DE. Last night I loaded up a fresh fresh Treet Silver blade in my Razor Rock Mission. I was so looking forward to this shave this morning. First pass with the grain left most of the stubble on my face. I remember this being a bit of a mild blade but not this mild. Second was just like always, cross grain left to right. Being a normal shave day third pass right to left. Not one bit of whisker came off. I had to get a cartridge that has been hanging in my shower unused for almost a year down and get a one pass with that.
Weird.

Most likely you found a dull blade (unusual but it can happen)... try using another from the same pack

After working a 13 hour shift I ate diner, had my evening shower, and then changed my blade before bed but after a cocktail or three. My alarm went off at 4:30 am and before any coffee, I shaved. I don't understand how that could happen.
I already had changed blades this morning before I left for work. I read your post and upon returning home I pulled the new blade out and put the other in. I felt it drag across my dry face and it shaved some arm hair. I don't think it's the irritation from that old cartridge that is making my face red.

Thanked: 220That Treet Silver must have been made on a Friday. That's never happened to me before, usually the fresh blades are too sharp!
