Thanked: 433If it's gold plated I would start with hot water and Dawn dish soap. There is a thin layer of Lacquer over another thin layer of gold plating that will come off if you are too aggressive when you clean it

Very nice razor. Try some toothpaste and an old toothbrush to clean it, I've cleaned up allot of my old razors with toothpaste, a very mild abrasive.
