Cannot wait to shave with it. Super Speeds are my favorite, and I'm just starting a collection of them. This and my Black Handle is the beginning.
    Lovely.

Thanks! It did polish up well. Got a terrific shave this evening.

For whatever reason I cant see the pics?!?!
Flare Tip Superspeeds are fine shavers and I also like the aesthetic look of them as well. I think you may happen to have the last production year for that razor as well.
FYI - I have every model super speed and it was quite the accomplishment when I buttoned up that collection in my DE stable. The only thing I do not have in my collection of them is I believe the blue tip had both a steel and aluminum handle depending, I only have the aluminum handle version.

Hopefully the pics come through, now. Thanks for the heads up, guys.
JimmyWetshaver, that is my goal; to collect every type and model of Super Speed. We shall see.

It will be fun for you accomplishing that, at least it has been for me.
BTW I now see the pics and it looks like that one is in great condition! Nice pick up!

Wow, looks like new! Can't beat them old Gillette DE's.
