Thanked: 12Van Der Hagen DE blades
Has anyone tried these: Amazon.com : Van Der Hagen Safety Razor : Razor Blades : Beauty
We just got the razors and blades at my work. They are like 4bucks for 5, but I can get them for 15% off with my discount. I can get Feathers for the same price from Maggards. The box of blades says made in Germany, so I wonder if the blades are actually something decent, just branded for VDH? Interested to see what y'all think.

Thanked: 12derp, wrong link. I meant to post this one for the blades Amazon.com : Van Der Hagen Stainless Steel Razor Blades, 5 Count (Pack of 5) : Solingen : Beauty
What the hell does Ice Tempered mean? is that a real thing, or just marketing?

I was not a fan of them personally. In fact I think I still have a few around somewhere. For me Feathers, Persona Labs & Persona Med Preps have covered all my de blade needs. There are others I have liked but I could be just fine with those 3 blades for good if de was still my razor of choice.

Thanked: 3227No experience with those particular blades but "Ice Tempered" refers to a method of tempering/hardening stainless steel.
