Thanked: 0reverse blades?
Has anyone tried to reverse the blades in a razor after a few shaves, and did it do any good if you did?

This has come up before and as I recall it gives no benefit.

I've tried it and found no improvement in flipping the blade on the next shave or making the blade last longer, even though some blades have numbers or letters on the corners. The question of these numbered/lettered corners may be that the blade is used in some sort of cutting tool possibly in Arts and Crafts.

Thanked: 3225Have never done that. I can't see any point to it because no matter what you do the same edge is doing the cutting.

Thanked: 220I don't remove the blade or open the DE until the blade needs changing.

what is the benefit? nothing , the edge is still the edge, just change the blade . I only use a blade one time anyway, takes the guess work out of the equation tc

Thanked: 171No real benefit, even though that was the reason sides were numbered during the depression when money was tight and times were hard.
