Thanked: 28Adjustable safty razors
I have gotten to be pretty much a Sr man these days , but I wont give up my DE razors. I have a Gillete Fat boy, a Merkur Futura, and a Merkur progressive. I like these 3 razors because you can adjust the opening for the shave closeness. Is there any other razors that offer this adjustment. In case I have to buy another DE razor. I can always use another in my rotation.

There is also the Gillette 195 with the adjust dial just above the twist to open (TTO)

Thanked: 351There is also the Merkur Vision, but as far as I can tell it has been discontinued.
I prefer my Merkur HD. Not that it's better, it's just simple and out of the box shaves exactly the same as my Progress that I spent months tweaking to my liking.Last edited by thebigspendur; 10-25-2015 at 08:42 PM. Reason: no sales talk on open forum

Gillette Black beauty and also the Apollo Mirkon (But the latter can be expensive due to rarity, but Ive seen a a handful listed on ebay this year)
I have a Gillette Slim in its case, but only used it once as I always felt the Fatboy shaved better imho.
There are aslo a few others Adjustable razors but not sur eoff the top of my head.
Enjoy your razors.

Thanked: 28Well thanks for the help. I was at a antique shop today and seen a Gillette black bodied adjustable razor. It was the exact model of the first razor I bought in 1980. I may have to go back and buy it they only wanted $10 I should just bought it then.

Ok, I wish I hadn't clicked the Delta Echo link. I've got to have one now.
