I've had mine for 2 years and love the brushed metal finish. You can't beat the shave for the price plus you can adjust it. I use the Crystal stainless steel platinum coated DE blades for $.16 each and you can get 8 to 10 shaves from each blade. Great value. I have a Mongoose and a new One Blade and I still like the Futur the best. Theres a video on youtube on how to take it apart to clean it.

One popped up local, Merkur Futur razor and brush set. Photos were terrible, but for the equivalent of US $35 I thought it would be worth a chance. Absolutely mint, shaved with it twice now set at 4. I am well impressed. Build quality is typical German, as good as it gets.
The brush is top notch, my new favourite Badger. Incorrect stand, Dovo stainless for a straight razor and brush. Not bothered...Into this house we're born, into this world we're thrown ~ Jim Morrison
