Thanks for the suggestions Wayne1963 so far the little cheapo I have seems to be working well with the Dollar Gen blades I am using. I must not have terribly sensitive skin because I hear very little good about those blades but they seem to be ok. I will one day upgrade and get a better razor when I get the fun money set aside : )

I have tried to use old DE blades in the past, rough wow, they were out in the open when I found them, maybe 7-8 years old. Dust and just moist air can have an effect on a blade, DE blades are thin and it doesn't take much to ruin it.

The blade that came with this shave kit was I am assuming the original I believe Eagle brand. It was actually just as sharp as the blades I had and sharper than the ones I just got from Dollar Gen. But the blade was still sealed so to speak in paper with another paper package on that.
