An interesting and clever idea. Could be handy for "oh-dark-thirty" early-morning shaving so as not to disturb sleeping family members.

I was imagining "Shaving in total darkness" as an exersize in face mapping. I suppose they exist, but have yet to meet a sight impaired shaver.

I wonder if the light would shine in the shaver's eyes and keep them from being able to see.

I believe I could even shave without a light if I had to. I shaved with a straight without a mirror for a couple of days at the bank of a gushing, cold mountain stream. I camped in my car unexpectantly and hence didn't have a mirror because I usually stayed in a hotel at the time. It wasn't really a problem. The ice cold water in the Bavarian Mountains was better than a mug of coffee to wake me up in the morning!

I wonder if it is to late to invent the glow in the dark shaving brush to go with the razor?

Not at all. Bristles made of fiber optic material transmitting light through every bristle with a small Led light source in the base.
