I can see my Futur.
Well my wife got me a mercury Futur today for my birthday and it is great. I am not really adept at shaving with de's yet. I haven't really been shaving with my straights lately and only have a Schick Kronos and a couple of vintage Gillettes that are non adjustable. But this thing is great. The heft is awesome. The adjustability is great. Currently I'm using derby super stainless because that's all I have now but they seem to work great. Wiped out 3 weeks of growth in no time. And it was super easy to rinse out all the hair unlike the other de's that I have. I did have some irritation from going against the grain on my neck but I'm sure that's from my lack of skill with de's. Now I just have to get a good large razor sample pack. I can see myself shaving with this razor for my futur.... yeah bad joke I know

Thanked: 55Love the heft of the merkurs. Have a non adjustable and still enjoy it occasionally. No pressure needed, just that weight.

Nice title! Glad you are enjoying it, I have been thinking about picking a DE up because I am pressed for time some days and don't want to rush with a straight

Thanked: 55That DE is what got me onto straights. If that was so good, I had to see if a straight was even better. With practice is bit better but even more fun. If all I wanted were good easy shaves, it would be all I used.
