Default Are these blades still good? ......

    Hey guys

Today I went to an estate (tag) sale and picked up these DE blades. The packaging has not been opened on any of these. Is it possible that they are still usable?

I would think so, but if there are more than one package of each brand I would only open one of them ans keep the other as an investment item. If there is only one of a particular brand/type I wouldn't want to affect it being collectible by opening it.

If you do open one, remember these are not like the modern versions. Modern versions are coated. A used vintage DE or SE is a prime candidate for one of the vintage DE/SE blade sharpeners that are around.

As long as they are not rusted (which they do not appear to be), they should be good.

+1, I've used them all, and except as mentioned unless they are rusted those are all superior blades.
