My tracking for my OneBlade still says Wednesday, 3/9/16. Meanwhile, I shaved this morning with my Mongoose (second shave with the razor and blade). Only needed one pass on all of my face except the neck area where I did a second pass. BBS! This is one darn good razor, can't wait to see how the OneBlade compares! Stay tuned!

Will be interested to read how you get on.

Must be. How does it compare to the Mongoose? The head on that thing looks bulky, same with the Mongoose.
The head on the Mongoose is long, but it is not bulky in the way that the 1st gen Ikon slant, with the rounded top cap, is. The MG being flat on top will allow the shaver to manipulate the blade at various angles. It is a bit heavy though, but not too much IMO.

I can get 5 1 pass shaves out of the Feather pro in the MG, 7 or even 8 if I do 2 passes for the last few shaves. I generally do 1 pass and call it DFS.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Yep, it's the length of the head. But, this razor is very angle friendly.
I can turn the razor head vertically and use about an 1/8" to 1/4" to shave directly under my nose without any nicks or irritation.

This company is getting a nice little following here. I was curious, and just checked them out. I'm happy for you that have this razor, and hope it all works out in the long run.

The company just leaves an awful taste in my mouth. Take a 300 razor and put a coating on it, bam $2500 now because we only made 101 of them. Then there's the thater brush they sell with their stand. The most expensive thater I've seen aren't much more than $215, but theirs is $400. They obviously have a market, but I'm going to stick to vintage straights!

Hi Prodigy! I hear you! I am a retired CPA and was very skeptical of the OneBlade and their marketing strategies. I have two Thater brushes which I bought from SRD, most expensive was $214. I even talked to Tod Barrett, OneBlade's CEO. He seemed to be a reasonable person and he is determined to be a dominant factor in the "wet shaving community". Given all that, I still had to try the OneBlade for myself, which is why I ordered it. Regarding the Feather blade required for the razor, . . .they are selling it for $.95 a blade, you can get it for $.60 - $.65 from other vendors. I ordered some from Phil at Bullgoose @ $.60 a blade. As I said earlier, I am expected to receive my OneBlade today and will shave with it tomorrow morning.

Ed, sounds like Tod Barrett is a nice guy with an optimistic business model. When he goes out of business you'll have a rare collector's item.
