    3D printed/made items are going to be the future in a lot of items.

    Well, there is a vintage slant made out of Bakelite. Its possible.

    3d printing isn't really there yet, and that design isn't going to work. Nylon 3d prints suck up water, expand, and crack in high humidity - putting one in water is just a stupid idea.
