Thread: Convert to cold water shaving

I have recently tried shaving with cold water and like it very much.

+1 here mate, been a cold water convert for close to years and prefer it by a long shot.
The only hot shaves I've had in this time has been from barbers

I've been shaving with cold water this week and liking it. Just might save the hot water for cold winter mornings.

I got on the cold water shave bandwagon last fall. There were some interesting threads on the subject then. I see no reason to ever again turn the hot water handle on my bathroom sink. That first splash at 4am on a February morning is a real skin bracer...

+1 on trying this a cold water shave.

A cold water shave is wonderful, especially in the summer (IMHO). Now, a cold water shave without soap...that is a good edge test

Tried it last week and will never go back. I do cheat with a hot brush and cream.... Im a terrible person!!!!

I've been shaving cold for more years than I can recall. Works well for me though YMMV.

I shave cold. Pre-wash, face lather, etc. But I have taken to going to well warm water for the final rinse. I cannot say why other than I just like it. Then I splash on some menthol!!! Go figure.

I have been doing it for years now. Works best for after a warm shower.

I've been considering going cold, and since tomorrow is supposed to hit mid-90s it seems like a great time to start.
