Thread: DE for Straight shaver for use whilst travelling?

I have wondered that same thing and come to the conclusion is "sort of". The slant is so subtle it just adds a little angle when used. I find that if I do a cheek with one side then flip and do it again with the second side, I get a smoother shave. It could be my imagination, or just a 2 pass effect. Anyway, I find it very comfortable to shave closely with, when I SR isn't feasible.

Is the purpose for the slant head to create a slicing motion like guillotining with a straight razor?
