Well, it's been a while since I posted about my fifth shave. By that time I had received some better soap (actually croap) and tried, but I was horrible at creating a lather with it, so that didn't go well. I was gifted a old Gillette short handled razor and was still using Personna blades. I had stopped shower shaving and also converted to wet shaving. The irritation under my neck was there, but nothing that was an issue. I also had a better brush gifted to me (a badger) which replaced my synthetic one. The badger brush was larger and more sturdy, but also required more care and maintenance.

I'm still pleased with my progress, but was far from the having a noteworthy number of shaves under my belt. Now, at the ten shave point looking back, I was naïve about the knowledge and experience I would need to acquire just to improve slightly. Because in those next five shave my experiences accelerated with the speed of light, but all and all, was just a drop in the knowledge and experience bucket.

The reason for the delay in posting was a combination of summer starting, bad weather, job searches, women problems, cigars problems and etc. let's just say life comes at you fast.
