    Default DE travel razor-Budget Blown!!!

The other day I made a comment about 180$ razor blade holders, then I went to ebay and was sickened by the greed. Well, my first shaver was a Gillette 1-9 adjustable, with Black handle, so after seeing them so high priced I decided to look in my one horse town and stopped at an Older ladies perpetual garage sale. Boy, I'm glad I stopped, told her what I was after and Lo and Behold an razor as I just described, Price?- $1.00, that was an hour ago, since then, I put a light buff on it and you would hardly know it from NOS. So, those razor deals can be found, will post a pic shortly, that razor showed at her place yesterday, first one this year she said.

I found my Gillette Fatboy in original case at an antique store for less than $10. I had wanted one but couldn't afford what they cost online.

I know you are kidding. She could maybe come up with a Mongoose and a Rattlesnake?
No, but she has some generally useful Old stuff around, Nutt'in fancy, though she once had a life size, behind the bar lady Nude painting one of her renters left, sold for $20,000 , turns out it was real Old 1870's and Very Rare artist, Not bad for a Make Offer sticky Note slapped on the frame.

That's a great deal too Leatherstockings, the handles are kinda short for me though.

You got a real good deal. Sometimes it pays to go searching the antique shops and flea markets for shaving gear.

Congratulations that's quite a steal there! It is a rare day when I go out into the wild and actually find what I'm looking for. I usually find something completely different that I "need"!
