Default A first razor for my daughter

My daughter is needing to start shaving her legs (she's furry like her old man&#128513 I'm am wanting to get her her own de. That way if she drops it or something she won't wreck one of my vintage ones. I was thinking this one:Baili BR177 Rose Gold Twist-to-Open Safety Razor | Maggard Razors - Straight Razor Restoration, Custom Scales and Wet Shaving Products it's not reviewed on Maggards, but seams to have good amazon reviews. So what do you all think? Also she doesn't want to use any thing but a de, because it "better for the environment". That is a direct quote😆

Good for her. A restored Lady Gillette would be my choice. Dont know about the one you listed but Lady Gillette was a big deal in pink.

look into waxing. When women shave their legs the hair just gets tougher and tougher. My wife waxes my daughters. She has a little wax crock pot duhickey and then there's these cheese cloth like strips you ply down onto the wax. The cheap stuff is a waste. It's painful but they got used to it fast.

Just take her there and let her pick one out!!

I know it would be a couple hour trip, but Brad and the staff there will get her off on the right foot.
As to that razor, the one thing I know for sure, they will NOT sell a product that they won't back and have faith in it being good quality.
I've been there a few times and met Brad and his wife. Great folks who want to help people get into wet shaving with the right equipment and confidence

There is a lot there to enjoy, and every AD will come into play there.
If you've ever wanted a soap, they have a TON on them there, and you can at least smell it before you buy it.
They also have starter sets, so she can get her own set and they are very reasonably priced in my opinion.
Brad is also a member here, his user name is undream.

Hope you go and enjoy yourselves

This is what Jerry was suggesting, it is what I started my girlfriend on and she loves it. This ones NOS but there are nice ones for less. Your daughter will have fun with whatever you/she pick out.

They sure are proud of that one. I got the same blue one in my collection. Think it cost me around 25 bucks shipped.
