Default Recommendations on a new adjustable with "flat" head?

Yes continuing the learning with a DE, I am now in search for a different flavor. Variety is after all, the spice of life!

Currently learning with a Merkur Futur and am quite pleased but looking for suggestions on a new adjustable with a flatter or less domed head. The Futur works well for me but the tall head makes maneuvering under my "majestic" nose a bit of a challenge.

Looking at a Merkur Progress and Parker Variant at present but not sold on either sight unseen...

You NEED an old Gillette Adjustable. They’re all great, but I’m partial to the Super Adjustable.

B.J. has already gotten me in trouble with SWMBO!

Just scored a Gillette Slim from eBay, should be here the end of the week. Hope it doesn't need too much other than a cleaning and maybe a few minor adjustments. Should make for an interesting contrast to the Merkur...
