LOL!! That's right! I totally forgot you were saved from the power of the electric hell!! I've bought three of those things over the years... all they did was pull and cause irritations. But then, they make ones you use in the shower now.

I borrowed my dads electric once. Just to give it a try. All i got was irritation and a half-assed shave. Rubbing the thing on my face over and over wasnt what i needed. As we ran out the door the ol'man looked at me and said "i thought you were going to shave?"

That's funny!! I grew up watching commercials of the successful dude in a nice car driving to work and shaving. They (the ads) are so ingrained, an electric just screams classy!! That's why I kept buying em time after time... what can I say I'm a product of my environment lol.

    Great read, thanks for sharing.
I have a place in my rotation for my de’s. If I’m in a hurry, and to touch up what the straight sometimes misses, hidden under lather..
Fun to try different blades in them as well.
Fortunate to have a fat boy adjustable, as well as a couple of fixed angle blades to choose from.
Not to take a way from a gem single or even a well honed autostrop.
