Thread: Open comb recommends

I don't know how long you've been away from DEs. There have come some really great razors in the past few years.

My best ever is the Timeless open comb 0.68 blade gap with a scalloped cap in polished finish. Stainless and beautiful. Very smooth and efficient. I use it on bulldog handle.

I do also have a 0.95 base, but don't use it as often.

I have tried every type of DE and SE razor from Gillette, Schick, Merkur, Rolls Razor, Gem, during my 60 years of shaving. I bought a stainless steel injector razor from Supply.com a few months ago and swear by it. It is hefty, comfortable in the hand, and gives me a BBS shave every time. The injector blades are available in most drugstores at a reasonable price. Believe me, injector razors have come a long way!

Lucky me . . . Karve just released their Open Comb razor.

Ordered the OC C plate Karve. Should have it on Thursday and will leave a review.
