I've been gently suggesting DE/straight to him for a while and usually got the "sure whatever" response (he's 17 so...). With school being basically shut down he's been letting the "beard" grow.

Last night I was teasing him about the fuzzy lip. He told me he had just been too lazy to take care of it. I told him to take my spare Gillette Super Speed and throw a Silver Blue in it and give it a try. I told him how to find the right angle a to use really light pressure to start. I got the usual non-committal response.

I came home tonight and noticed the fuzz was gone...did you use the DE???..."Yea, it was actually kinda nice and really easy to find the angle"

He got one small nick from a bump on his chin, but seems to have liked the shave.
