    Are those proprietary blades?

Thats one of the reasons I didn't try a one blade.

no,they take the standard non proprietary injector type blade. (if you look on ebay they have some used ones for a prety good deal BTW)

It's not that expensive compared to other boutique razors.

The three blade thing is a turnoff for me.

I think multi blade razors serve no purpose except to irritate the area being shaved.

I like single blade either straight or safety depending on how I feel that day.

I shave too infrequently (once or twice a week). I remember in the cartridge days pushing the blades down with my thumb to rinse the stuck hairs out. Since I started with a DE, I have never gotten it clogged and gotten a closer shave then any multiblade cartridge. So, I guess for me it is a combination of it could suck and why bother if one works.
If you're wondering I'm probably being sarcastic.

I have 1, I use it to shave my head with it is excellent for that I use feather blade snapped in half.

For the face i tried it once and i found the head to big to get under my nose, i prefer a DE or offcorse a nice straight for that.

If you are looking for a razor for your head i can highly recommend it for the face not so good.

    Just my 2 cents, YMMV
