    Who can tell me some history. Good bad indifferent?

    I had one -- a 1924 (see below). Nice heft; aggressive enough, but not overly so. More "substantial" than the previous Old Type. Be on the lookout for "stress fractures" in the handle; especially at the top, where the tube joins the ferrule (it's a press-fit).

    It is a good shaver like the other NEW Improved Gillette's. What make's it a Bostonian is the case - very cool with the built in elevator that raises the razor when the lid is opened. Here's my two of a kind save the Richwood and Bostonian boxes - albeit out of focus sorry!
