I have a bunch of old DE blades around here too, they came as part of a lot I bought.

Yes there is, the name is "Model Blade Co., New York, N.Y.
... and I will be setting a small sample of the various blades in a frame for a wall hanger.

Not all DE blades were designed for shaving in the old days.

I guess these days they have various utility knives that do a better job.

So now pretty much all DE blades are shaving blades but I bet.....

I would think that similar to if you had a hardware store you could pay anyone to put your name or brand on a straight razor.

Why would that change with a DE?

Agreed. If a product provides a channel for advertising then it will be used.
