Thanked: 101Shaved. Wow!
Well I shaved with the Gillette I posted about here. I Thought I would give it a try this morn. My face has already produced white pustules. I have noticed since straight razor shaving my face has cleared up a bunch! Now I know that the straight will all that will be used.

I've never used a DE, yet perhaps, but remember that not everyone gets a great straight shave first off either. Don't think that just because you can use a straight effectively and comfortably means that you can whip out the same success with a DE. I'm pretty sure there is a learning curve to be dealt with.
I hope new straight users don't pass judgement so easily! But then again, if you dig straights, no reason to mess with perfection...

I love 'em both but am still working the learning curve on both. I'll go back and forth forever, they are both fun, but my neck seems to like straights better.

Thanked: 101I had used this DE for years in the past. It of course, like other type razors, tore my face up. I have not seen my face clearer than what it is now since pre puberty!!! Electrics chewed up my face like hamburger, and disposables ate me up too. I actually had a no shave waiver for a few months while deployed with the Navy in '99. My face had gotten so bad from shaving the Doc said I couldn't shave anymore. He had never seen a case as bad as mine on a Caucazoid. The psuedo folicalitis usually is only suffered by Negroes.
