I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I think you mean the Derby Professional shavette blades, yeah? PermaSharps are made in India.
You can get them on the bay. Just search for that phrase.

Gary, I think these are what you are refering to...100 DERBY PROFESSIONAL SINGLE EDGE STRAIGHT RAZOR BLADE - eBay (item 180255879613 end time Feb-14-09 11:32:45 PST)

They are just Derby Extra DE blades cut in half. I think Classic Shaving also carries these types of blades in different lengths to fit different shavettes.

Note that these are not true Single Edge blades, like what you'd use in a Gem razor. True Single Edge blades are the same size as a normal DE blade, but only one edge is sharpened. They're typically available in home improvement stores over here in the colonies.

Ah, I see... I thought you were just looking for that *type* of blade, not an exact brand.

Edit: Just did a few searches. I found the whole blade perma-sharps, but none of the ones that come already broken in half.

Well Gary, I guess it's true what they say: you learn something new everyday! A little searching and I turned up some info about your Turkish PermaSharps.--but only from German sources. I found some links to B&B but I'm banned so I can't check there for you. I'm thinking you'll need a source in Turkey or Germany, though....nothing turned up any shopping sites.

Well I am Turkish and live in Istanbul, and there's not much to understand there. The price is about 4 GBP for a box of hundred and it can be ordered, but nowhere on the site is there any indication of availability of international shipment, which is extremely unlikely to be provided at all.

If that's the case, can't you order them and ship them to Gary?
I guess he's way to polite to ask him yourself, so here I am, making a small suggestion...
