I alternate between d/e and s/e razors,but I prefer the stiffer blades and single edge razors.
You can pick up Gem's and Ever Ready's for small change and the blades are readily available in drug dtores in the U.S. I highly recommend trying a single edge. Cheers Phil.

i do like my SE. its a Schick Injector, brass coloured with tan plastic handle. hard to find blades around my area though.

I actually prefer a fairly aggressive DE razor. The 40s style SS is great, but I prefer the Red Tip model. I just get a more comfortable shave out of it. Usually with a Derby blade also.
