Default newest item in my humble collection

i was on a road trip around lithuania with some friends and brother and we stopped over at a little convenience store in some teeny-tiny village, and here's what i found for 10 litai (which would be around 3 euros):

so i figured i'd buy it. haven't yet tried it out but planning to in a short while.

has anybody tried this DE? this is my first DE so i've nothing to compare to.

also ... which blades are better? wilkinson or gillette?

I've not tried it, but as far as blades go, this is your best source if info, i believe.
Each blade is slightly different from one individual to another. You just have to try them really & see what works for you.

I've got a similar DE (long handle, three piece, black plastic) that works just fine. It rarely sees the outside of the drawer though, because even a Tech is heftier and more satisfying to handle. It would at least make a decent travel razor. As for blades, there are more and better options out there than either Wilkinson (cheap but poor quality) or Gillette (good quality but pricey) Take ben.mid's advice and read up Squire's blade reviews over at SMF.

Wilkinson and Gillette both make several types of blades. You really have to try them out for yourself to see which blade works best for you. It is a YMMV kind of proposition.

What's it made of? You should have bought some more. I'll bet you could have sold them in the classifieds. :-)

    Update: OMG. I found them!
