Default Picking a finish and blades

I've decided on buying the "Merkur 38C Barber Pole" as my starting razor. I just can't decide on a finish to use:

Nickel - Merkur 'Barber Pole' Safety Razor (one razor blade included): Amazon.co.uk: Health & Beauty
Chrome - Merkur 'Barber Pole' Heavy Duty Double Edge Safety Razor: Amazon.co.uk: Health & Beauty
Aluminium matt - Merkur 38C Barber Pole DE Safety Razor Aluminium Matt Finish: Amazon.co.uk: Health & Beauty

Also, what would you expect to pay for a single DE blade ?
So I can scale it up when I buy differing amounts etc.

Of course, finish is all taste but I'm a big matte fan. I had a Futur in matte, it was lovely.

As for DE blades, they range in price from about 9c to 1.00 each-depends on bulk, and brand. I used to use 7 O'Clock PermaSharps, 1.20 for a 5-pack basic price. Feathers run you more, and swedes run you a LOT more, but again, it's all taste. Get a sampler from Paul at Connaught shaving or
    John at West Coast Shaving.

It's not a major decision, i'm just wondering what peoples opinions are
And thank you for the British supply website, i'll take a good look at that later.

Blades are much cheaper when purchased in bulk. For a rough estimate, assume you could get ~ 100 Derby blades for $.15 each (including shipping) if 100 were purchased.
