I thought you guys might appreciate this:

I went into an antique shop today and went through the same routine. "Hello sir, can I help you find anything?" "Sure, I'm looking for any shaving stuff, straight razors more than anything." He took me around the shop and pointed out the booths that would most likely have 'shaving stuff', I said thanks, and started looking around. A few minutes later he yelled out from behind the desk, "I know you are looking for straights, but we just closed out an estate and the guy had a safety razor that looks like he got it as a gift and just threw it in a drawer. Are you interested in looking at that?," he asked. "Sure," said I.

He brought it over to me and I couldn't believe what I was looking at! This thing is like brand new! I hope you like.

That, is a very nice safety razor.

Most of us prefer a straight, safeties most certainly have their place, and I'm sure I could find a place for one like that. Hope you got a good deal on it.

I'm mainly a straight guy as well, but this is a one year only razor and they didn't make many that one year. To find one in this shape is a million to one at best. Yes, I got it at a very good price.
