I have a Parker that I use as a travel razor. It shaves very nice but I think you are on the right track to find an Edwin Jagger. My favorite though is a Gillette adjustable I picked up at an antique store. That's one of the great things about this forum. Just because you are new to the forum, or traditional wet shaving, it doesn't mean you have to start at the bottom and spend lots of money working your way up to the better quality items. You'll find out soon enough, if you haven't already, that you'll always be on the lookout for that bowl or that brush which you read about. It's a fun hobby that's useful too.
