Default how to ID an old safety razor??

my dad has his fathers safety razor from back in the day i know its brass it has a nice patina on it, and i can see no names anywhere there are some faint numbers stamp into it ill see if i can read em and ill get a pic when i can.

it is a concave 3 piece design the handle screws into the blade holder. im guessing its pre 1940's his father was killed in action so its at least that old.

With no mfgs name stamped a photo would be helpful in identifying it. Forgive me for stating the obvious.

the only marking on the razor itself are on the top of the "rake" B 30299 or 89

I'm a bit rusty on IDing old safety razors but someone will be along who will know. Meantime, if the numbers are stamped on the whatchamacallit you may find them at this site here.
