Help me identify this open comb
Hi,
I happen to win a gillette razor on an ebay auction. Have a look here:
The seller said there is no date code on the back of the razor head and the box apparently does not belong to razor..Last edited by ferroburak; 05-19-2010 at 06:11 AM.

Looks like a Gillette Tech with a solid ball end handle , in the wrong super speed case.

Yeah, as iKon said, a ball end tech in a super speed case. Lot of guys like them though.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Like others have said, it's a ball end Tech. After checking around, it looks like it's probably from around 1946-1950 because of the shape of the slots in the base plate. A little scrubbing bubbles and a toothbrush, and it looks like it'll clean up nicely. They're known to be good shavers.

Like the others have said.
And it is not an open comb. It has a bar.
