Thanked: 3Love my Lord DE Blades
I am back to my DE for awhile while my straight razor gets sharpened. I broke out my old Gillette and I bought some Lord Blades some time back. I normally use my Persona blades but wanted to try out these new ones.
What a shave! I think I am done looking for a better blade.
I also got to thinking, if it's about the closest most comfortable shave, why am I using a straight? I don't believe I can get this close with my straight. I will see when I get it back, but I now the mark has been set.

... or until you've tried some extinct blades like Swedes, which will just ruin everything.

Uncle,
I use a straight because I really enjoy shaving with them; I also really enjoy shaving with DE and SE saftey razors.
So, I use all of them in my shaving rotation, which leaves me a very happy chappie
Have fun !
Best regards
Russ

Thanked: 3Well, I've only tried a total of two blades. I found some vintage Persona blades that I liked but I bought some Lord blades because they were cheap.
I just happened to use a Lord blade just to see what they were like and I love them.
I've seen many people like the 7o'clocks and I will try these when I get a chance.
