Thanked: 84Girlfriend wanting to use a DE
My girlfriend has been thinking about using a DE, but she doesn't want to get into using soap/cream and brushes till she has had some practice with it, so I thought maybe something like skintimate or EOS Non-lathering shaving cream. I was just wondering if any of you ladies have tried it and what your experience was?

Thanked: 530My girlfriend uses Kiss My Face Vanilla on her legs... It comes in tubes or pump bottles, and can be used without a brush... You just pump it out and rub it on to your leg/face until it creates lather... It's better with a brush (as I'm teaching my girlfriend) but it works very well without one... Also, Nancy Boy brushless cream has good reviews, but I've never used it.
KMF is available if you look for it (my local Borders [book store] actually has some..)
Although, there are a lot of creams and soaps that don't take much learning to lather (Kiss My Face being among them... Also, Maca Root Shave Cream from The Body Shop). They are forgiving on water ratios and easy to learn on.
Alternatively, buy her a good soap (My girlfriend loves SRD's Blood Orange, and their floral scents) and a nice boar brush, then teach her to face (or leg) lather, rather than lathering in a bowl... I've found that facelathering is easier, and gives me better lather...
Get her an Omega or Semogue boar brush, and some nice soap, or some brushless cream... Either are very easy to learn and start with!
Good luck!
Best regards,
Jeremy

Girlfriend Wanting To Use A DE
Hello, Trevor:
Caswell-Massy has a shave cream called Dr. Hunter. It's a fine non-lather shave cream with plenty of cushion and glide. Your girlfriend might like it.
