However how do you like the TOBS Sandalwood? I was considering a tub of it a while back. Is it anything like The English Shaving Company's Sandalwood? Smell and shaving quality, not burning quality

Well I gotta say, after using AOS sandalwood this stuff smelled curiously like powdered sink cleaner but it does grow on you. It does seem to lather up nicely here but isnt quite as moisturizing as the AOS lather. I havent had a chance to try ESC's sandalwood but now Im curious if nothing else than the scent

I'll just wear those tanning glasses next time I get sloppy-dog with the lather

Believe me there are worse things to get in your eye. I seem to remember splashing in some battery electrolyte as an apprentice and about 10 years ago, unleaded gasoline under pressure.
Takes pain to a whole new level. Nowadays, it's safety glasses on if there is even a suspicion of anything unpleasant likely to go near my eyes.

So you wear safety glasses when shaving the sideburn area then W.Wiz?! You don't want to get that razor in yer eye.
I shouldn't be making fun really, as I read this post yesterday, and what do I do last night?! Yep, soap in the eye. It wasn't too bad though, but it did sting.

No worries! I havent gotten cleaning agents in my eye in years either but that whole situation was just a big facepalm for that situation. Never pays to be in a rush.
